Police Say Husband Stabbed Wife

Police in the city of Phoenix, Arizona told news sources this week that they have arrested a man who they believe stabbed his own wife.

According to reports, the woman was inside of her home when she was confronted about an alleged affair by her husband who had just been released from prison. An altercation occurred and officers believe that the husband stabbed the woman and then fled her house.

The husband was placed under arrest for the violent crime after police tracked him down at a friend's house.

Officers say that the stabbing victim is a mother of three children. Following the incident, she was taken to the hospital where she currently remains in critical condition.
