Officer Accused of Using Too Much Force during Arrest

An officer in Phoenix finds himself at the center of an investigation for using too much force during arrests.

The suspect, Patrick Larrison, can be seen on multiple YouTube videos using excessive force, such as the video where he aggressively pins down a teenage girl before handcuffing her. Although he had reason to be there - the girl was believed to be intoxicated and sharing alcohol with friends at school - there was no reason for Larrison to treat the young girl as he did. The girl was later charged with threatening police and aggravated assault for striking a school employee.

This arrest concludes an investigation conducted both internally and externally against Larrison, who has been a member of the Phoenix Police Department for 3.5 years. At least one other officer has come forward to speak out against Larrison.
