TSA Officer Victim of Felony Sexual Assault

It has recently been reported that a 61-year-old woman from Colorado was placed under arrest in Phoenix for sexual assault. The arrest took place after the woman allegedly grabbed the left breasts of a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer with both of her hands while at Sky Harbor Airport. Officers say that the suspect is accused of "squeezing and twisting" this region of the TSA officer's body during a security screening.

The suspect became upset during the screening and began to argue with nearby officers. She then groped a female TSA employee. According to one news source, the suspect grabbed the TSA officer's "left breast through her clothing and squeezing and twisting it with both hands without the victim's permission."

The groping incident occurred while the suspect was inside of Terminal 4 at Checkpoint D. Police were called and dispatched to the airport where they arrested the 61 –year-old on charges of felony sexual assault.
