Officers Chase Down Burglar in Phoenix
Although police had to chase him through the streets of Phoenix, officers finally caught up with the man suspected of robbing two stores early last week.
Police reports show that the suspect, a 30-year-old male, robbed two stores in the city before giving chase to the police. While officers saw the man run away from one of the businesses, they were unable to catch up with him. However, when they saw a blue Chevrolet parked not too far away from where the suspect was last seen, they set up surveillance on the vehicle. A few hours later, undercover officers spotted the suspect getting into the vehicle and followed him to a nearby street.
Shortly after, the man exited the vehicle, causing officers to call for air support so they could track him down. When they finally caught up with him on the roof of a house, the accused thief was arrested for two counts of burglary.
