Man Arrested for 10 Counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

This week in the city of Phoenix, a convicted sex offender was arrested after he allegedly traded photos and videos of young children who were being sexually abused.

According to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force had identified a residence in north Phoenix and discovered that sexually graphic images and videos with minors were being shared from within the home.

After the discovery, investigators obtained a search warrant and proceeded to search the residence of 56-year-old Ronald Fritz.  Inside of the residence, officers located additional images of unidentified children being sexually abused and exploited.

After he was arrested, the defendant admitted that he traded unlawful images.  He was booked on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor as well as one count of failure to register as a sexual offender.
