Father and Son Arrested for Home Invasion
On Monday, police in the city of Phoenix were able to arrest two suspects that were wanted for a local home invasion. The pair, a father and a son, had been wanted for a burglary that occurred the prior Saturday.
The father, a 59-year-old, and the son, a 30-year-old, attempted to break into the residence with a half-inch breaker bar. Police say that once inside, they intended to assault the owner of the home. Even though the two men were unsuccessful in their quest to cause violence, they may be facing assault charges for their actions.
Police say that they are unsure what motivated the crime as the father and the son did not know the home owner. They also report that they are still on the lookout for another man that is believed to have been involved in the burglary.
