37 Year Old Charged with 4 Counts of Sexual Abuse

Previously homeless, Ahmed Jamal Shireh has found himself a new home: in jail.

The 37-year old has been charged with four counts of sexual abuse, along with one count of aggravated assault on a minor and one count of unlawful imprisonment. According to police reports, Shireh grabbed the victim as she was walking through Arcadia Park on her way to school.

He then attempted to kiss and fondle her, forcing skin-to-skin contact against her will. Although she the girl tried to get free of his advances, it took several moments before she could escape his grasp and run to her school principal. When police found Shireh in the park, he appeared to be extremely intoxicated.

Shireh now faces multiple charges of felony crimes in addition to the outstanding warrant that he has against him from Minnesota for five separate felony charges.
