Police Suspect Shooting was a Murder-Suicide

In the city of Phoenix, three people have died after suffering gunshot wounds at an apartment complex near a police precinct.

According to area authorities, the shooting took place at 4:30 PM at an apartment complex in south Phoenix. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two bodies in the courtyard and were told that the shooter was located inside one of the unit.

Then, responding police officers heard a single gunshot and later found the suspected shooter dead.

At this time, authorities strongly suspect the shooting was a murder-suicide.  They were not able to release additional details as investigations are ongoing.
