City Worker Used Credit Card from Job to Make Fraudulent Purchases

According to local law enforcement agents, they have been investigating 35-year-old Dawn Castaneda since September. Allegedly, after she left her job, investigators found that several equipment items were missing from the Elk's Theater where she was formerly employed. This led to an initial investigation.
Police obtained a search warrant for Castaneda's home and conducted a search. There, they discovered that she had bought items with her city credit card. Other items were found in her vehicle at the time of her arrest.
Castaneda has been booked on charges for theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.
