Two Men Arrested in Connection with Home Invasions
This week in the city of Phoenix, law enforcement officers have arrested two men that were connected with a pair of violent home invasions. During the invasions, it is said that elderly residents were tied up and beaten.
23-year-old Lester Alexander Dunnings and 50-year-old Kevin Michael Taubman stand accused of breaking into two residences that were occupied by people who are 80 years old or older.
In both of the robberies, elderly victims were bound and beaten before the theft crimes took place. During one invasion, a man in his 90s and his 87-year-old wife suffered heart attacks. The woman in that case sustained life-threatening injuries.
Police were able to stop the men near the area where the robberies occurred. Once arrested in question, both admitted that they were involved in the home invasions.
