Police Make Arrest in Cold Case
In the city of Phoenix, police say they have finally made an arrest in a cold case murder of a local woman.
According to officers, 31-year-old Curtis Parker is suspected of killing 44-year-old Michelle Dominique. Police say that the murder took place on March 3, 2009 in an apartment in the next.
When the murder occurred, police say that a taxi driver saw smoke coming from the apartment at 3:30 AM near 13th and Peoria avenues. When firefighters arrived, they found Dominique dead inside of the apartment while trying to put out a small fire.
On Tuesday, Parker was arrested in West Phoenix. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
