Police Locate Man Involved in Fatal Shooting
In the city of Mesa, police say they made an arrest in a case involving the fatal shooting of a man. Defendant was placed under arrest on Tuesday evening.
According to a statement by local police, Javier Machado Aboites was charged with first-degree murder related to the death of 23-year-old Jonathan Luna Limon. On Tuesday night, Limon was shot outside of his girlfriend's home at a trailer park.
When police questioned the victim's girlfriend, said she had no idea who shot Limon. However, she eventually told officers that it was her current boyfriend, Machado Aboites.
The woman said that the victim had taken her three-year-old daughter without permission and then returned the child to her home. That is when her current boyfriend walked up to him and shot him at least two times.
