Mother Had Meth Lab Inside Her Child's Closet

In Muskogee, Drug Task Force officers recently arrested a woman after finding a meth lab inside of her 5 year old child's closet.  On Thursday, Muskogee County Chief Deputy Joe Hughart confirmed the drug crime arrest and said the woman was 28-year-old Tiffany Marie Scott.  He also said that Scott remained in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Allegedly, the five-year-old child was inside the residence when the drug bust occurred Wednesday evening.  The Department of Human Services asked the task force to get in touch with the child's father after the investigation.  The father later came to the home and picked the child up.

Scott was arrested for:  possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, child endangerment and endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute.

All of the drugs and the meth lab were located within her young child's closet.
