Local Man Charged with 10 Counts of Child Pornography

This week in the city of Phoenix a local man was arrested by police and officially charged with 10 counts of child pornography.

On Tuesday, law enforcement officers arrested 44-year-old Kurtis Bruce inside of his home.  Bruce was placed under arrest after police traced his Internet address back to his residence in the Phoenix area.  Officers say that he had more than 1,500 files containing sexually explicit images of minors on his computer.

Police reports indicate that Bruce admitted to downloading explicit images of girls who were as young as six or seven years of age.  He also admitted to distributing the graphic images to people he knew and said that he had been doing it for years.
